ok ok... so we have all been here in the states...

I don't know why but in the UK Mcdonald's taste 100% better. The chicken sandwich was like a 8 dollar sandwich.. Very fresh and the lettuce was oh-so crispy. I was taken back by it.

I also tried a hamburger and to my surprised it was really good. I'm not really a fast food type of person but if you have ever been to London you will come to find out that their isn't so much to eat here in terms of delicious foods.

Don't laugh.. you may find yourself eating at mc-e-D's in London..

McDonald's serves a purpose. It is fuel when you simply don't want to go elsewhere. It's a quick burger and a Coke and maybe some fries. Every McDonald's is just like the next. They do that on purpose. A Big Mac is a Big Mac is a Big Mac. Other than the money you use to pay for it (and they are happy to take your credit card), there is no difference between them.

For grown-ups, maybe not the best choice. But the kids love those Happy Meals!

This one is no different. I mean, it's the same. Super busy tills ("registers" in American) with a deep queue ("line") on the ground floor. Downstairs you'll find more tables as well as the loos ("bathrooms"). Strangely, a television too. Weird.

Free wi-fi. No power outlets, which I think is intentional.

My double-cheeseburger had ketchup, mustard, pickles and diced onions. I know they'll specially make one without those nasty pickles, but I just can't be bothered. The water went down nicely.

Yes, there is a Boris Bike stand right outside.

One might ask why anyone would need to read a review of McDonald's. The best thing about McDonald's is that no matter where you are in the world you always get the same thing. This McDonald's is no different. So. . . you ask why 4 stars? Well, this McD's actually has two things that make it stand out from many others. One, downstairs there is a small area with two couches and a flat screen tv that is always turned to the news - you can actually feel you are learning a little something while destroying your body. But even better is the free wi-fi. Since most of the other places on Kings Road that have wi-fi are not free, I see this as a huge plus.

    Yes, I am easily pleased!
